Despite some claims of this beeing boring, I can gurantee you a lot of fun when you are fan of mechwarrior and co. The autofire feature results in smooth and accurate steering, the wingman feature is very cool. I played up to lvl 24 now and like it very much. 4 stars only, because the multiplayer feature has been done poorly. A Lobby to see how many playees are actually onlibe would have been nice.

After playing Mechwarrior 4 recently, Id been looking for something similar to it in the app store - this is it. The basics are (almost) all there: customize your mech loadout, take in allied wingmen, manage power and weapon ranges, cooldowns, etc. Everything is streamlined for pick-up-and-play ease. Id be difficult to play an actual Mechwarrior game while in line at the grocery store, but its perfectly doable to go through a satisfying Metal Wars 2 mission in that situation. This is where the Custom Robo comparison comes in. Like Custom Robo on the DS, most missions take place in interesting arenas. You typically fight two mechs at a time with your own mech and your ally (who you can also kit out and command in general terms - attack, follow, hold). This game, and its prequel (which is top-down, not first-person) are perfect for those whove been craving a mech sim they can play on the go. I cant wait to see what this dev does next.

This game is awesome, worth the price, and has tons of different configurations for your mech. But I have no idea how many levels. Ive cleared level 25 and still more to come.

This is a pretty solid game. Fun reasonable controls. A little crashing needs to be addressed.

This AWESOME game gives you an experiance of being in a mech...but mabey that is one of the things the devs could improve (make it even more realistic). A fair of weapons and effects AND THANKFULY A GOOD AI (not stupid and glitchy,unrealealistic etc). Really woth the money!

ii hav nothing bed to say about the game play but iit just need more upgrades, weapons and levels... 30 levels just isnt enough ooo iits only crashed twice for as long as ive had it

You gotta buy this game so fun but can you add more levels I finished the game in a day and also add more weapons like an acid gun. This game is one of my favs

An excellent game, however, when you reach stage 12 and your ally dies, you cannot switch weapons anymore. The weapons stays the same no matter what. Please update and fix. Otherwise an excellent game. Thanks!

This game is really awesome and addicting! The graphics are amazing! Its just that after I beat the game I end up deleting it. If you would add more levels and more weapons (grenade launcher). It would make the game more interresting and more amusing. Thank You

It was a fun game when I was playing it.But then one time when I tapped on my file it did not let me in and now I cant play on my file. When I select my file it kicks me to my home page.

They wont be updating it but its a fun game anyway

Whenever i start a battle, i cant use my second robot! Only my first! But now, whenever i try to go to my profile, it crashes!!! I would love this to be fixed

Broken up into quick and easy sessions of arena-like combat for better portability. Controls are typical, dual stick style with a simple, effective command system for controlling your support unit. Combat can become repetitive, but unlocking new weapons and parts helps replay value.

U guys have to make way more bots and assembly options because everytime I go to trick out my bot with new parts it will say "too overweight" oh thats just great! But one big and like some what obvious idea for you guys is.... MAKE IT A WORLDWIDE ONLINE MULTIPLAYER GAME!!! Since we get only like 30 exact lvls we need more and when u make it then we can all be satisfied

There needs to be a completely online multiplayer and more levels
